We’re proud of the quality and durability of our handwoven deck hammock nets, made from UV-stabilised Hemptex synthetic rope. Here's what you can expect from our product—and what’s covered under warranty.
What We Cover
Our warranty protects you from manufacturing defects, including:
Faulty weaving or rope failure caused by defective materials
Structural failures under normal use
Loose or unravelled knots (if we installed the net)
What’s Not Covered
Like any outdoor product, wear over time is natural. The following are NOT covered under our warranty:
Normal wear and tear (including surface fraying or rope softening)
Colour fading or weather-related changes
Damage caused by fire, water pooling, mould, sharp edges, pets, tools or other accidental damage
Misuse, overloading, or poor third-party installation
Expected Lifespan
Our nets are made to last. Hemptex rope is designed for the outdoors and typically lasts 10–15 years or more under residential use.
While the rope won’t rot or weaken easily, minor cosmetic changes are expected:
Slight colour fading or dulling from sun, rain, and dust
Light surface fraying, especially in high-use areas
These natural changes do not affect safety or strength and are not considered defects.
Fraying
Fraying is a normal part of life for any braided rope.
Normal: Soft surface fibres appearing over time
Not normal: Deep rope damage or separation that affects strength
Warranty Periods
Local Installations
Coverage period: 24 months from installation
Support type: On-site repair or replacement
Nets supply only
Coverage period: 12 months from delivery
Support type: Return-to-base repair or replacement
How to Make a Claim
For local clients
Send us photos/videos of the issue. If it's covered, we’ll come fix it.
For remote clients
Submit photos for review. If it’s covered, you’ll send the net to us for repair/replacement—we’ll cover the return shipping.
Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and doesn’t cover accidental damage, improper use, or third-party installations.
